Hi, my name is Matheus Morais! I'm a Brazilian football fanatic, 28 years old, living in Rio de Janeiro. I'm a big fan of travelling, food, beer and sports. Of course, I'm absolutely passionate about Flamengo, the biggest club in Brazil, and I've been going to my club's matches since I was little! I work as Brazil's Manager at Homefans and I also led groups and take them to the best areas and football matches in my city since 2018!

Matheus is laid back, cool and a great host. He even taught me how to fly his club’s flag at the end of the match. Been really trying to have more “authentic” experiences in travel lately, and this felt as real as it gets. Myself and my oldest girl (10) are pretty big football fans. My wife and youngest (9) not as much, but they had as much fun as we did. So if you’re debating this experience, go for it!

Brilliant day spent with Matheus at the Maracanã, he took us to a street where the fans meet for food and beers before the game then on to the match. His knowledge of Flamengo was excellent, I would highly recommend using Matheus if in Rio and wanting to go to a game to watch Flamengo.

It was a great evening with Matheus at maracana. He picked us up like we agreed and we watched with him and other local fans a magnificent 5:0 win of flamengo. After the match he took us to our hotel. All in all everything worked, Matheus is very friendly. The atmosphere in maracana is incredible. A must do for every soccer fan.

It's true to say the lower leagues in any country showcase the past, the culture and the heritage of superstar football that we know and love. This your gave me the knowledge of just that. Matheus may be a Flamengo fan, but he has an encyclopedic knowledge of the clubs that paved the way. Also, the stadiums are like living museums. The football itself may not be tiki taka, but that's charming in its own way, and let's face it, we don't go to stadiums to watch a match. Go, you will not regret it!

Great experience. Matheus was a really knowledgeable host and made everything super-smooth. Would recommend to anyone who wants to see Flamengo and go to the Maracana.
