Join us in Glasgow for The Old Firm  – one of football’s oldest and most complex derbies.

The Old Firm is a dizzying combination of football, politics, religion, and identity.

All compressed into one city where the levels of fan obsession and media attention reach fever pitch.

Despite everything, football is still the main driver of this rivalry.

Because for all their differences, Celtic and Rangers have one thing in common – an endless obsession with being the best.

This trip lets you see the Old Firm Derby through the eyes of a Celtic fan.

Your weekend in Glasgow will be led by Lee – a lifelong Celtic supporter and one of our longest-serving local guides.

Lee will give you the inside track on Glasgow’s rich football culture. Taking you to the best of his city and letting you experience the Old Firm at Celtic Park the local way.  Your tour includes accommodation and match tickets and Lee will have plenty of ideas for your spare time.

It doesn’t get any bigger, louder, or better than this!

Day 1 - Welcome to Glasgow and Stadium Tour

The weekend you've been waiting for is here!

All morning, people will arrive from across the world to attend the mighty Old Firm. Once you've checked into your hotel, there’s some time to recover from your journey or do some sightseeing in the city centre.

In the afternoon, your local host and Celtic fan Lee will meet you at the hotel.

Together you'll make your way to Celtic Park - home of Glasgow Celtic. Here you'll get a full stadium tour, learn about Celtic's history, and start imagining the scenes you'll see here in less than 24 hours time!

After the tour, there’s no set program and anything is possible. Like having dinner with the group at one of Glasgow's great restaurants. Or make the most of your Saturday night with a few drinks.

Day 2 - Match Day Experience: Celtic x Rangers
Day 2 - Match Day Experience: Celtic x Rangers

Match Day! After months waiting, you will finally get to enter "Paradise" for the almighty Old Firm!

Old Firm games generally start at around 12:30 in the afternoon. So you'll get up early and meet Lee at around 10:00am.

Once everybody is together, you'll hop on the Subway and go to a typical Celtic pub. There you can listen to
Lee's stories and join in as the Celtic fans sing before kick-off.

You'll then arrive at Celtic Park in plenty of time to enjoy the action. Old Firm games never disappoint - and you might even be treated to seeing 60,000 Celtic fans doing the huddle if you are lucky!

After the match, there’s plenty of time to do some more sightseeing. You can choose from a stadium tour at Hampden Park, a graffiti tour, or even a Whisky Tour through the streets of the old town!

At night, Lee will organize a special group dinner if you'd like to join.

Will the stadiums be open in 2021/22? At what capacity?

Homefans believe that stadiums will be open to fans, however we cannot at this stage confirm what the capacity will be.  However our flexible booking policies mean that if the stadium will only accept 50% fans and you decide you only want to travel with 100% attendance you can swap to another venue or another date.

Will I need to prove I am vaccinated? Or show a negative test?

This will vary destination to destination and based on your nationality and age. Therefore Homefans are not able to advise on this.  Please check the foreign ministry of your destination and home country and the stadium requirements.  Again, if you find the requirements too much you can defer to later in the season/year when they relax further.

COVID-19 hasn’t gone away- should I still book?

We believe so, we all need something to look forward to.  But we understand that people may be apprehensive which is why we have created a flexible cancellation policy which means in the event that the event does not happen the amount paid simply becomes Homefans credit.

You can transfer this to a later date (with no time limit), transfer to another tour, or even give it to a friend. This flexibility also applies if you decide to cancel for any reason (as long as you give us 45 days notice)

Do I have to pay the full amount when I book?

No, you can secure your place with a deposit of just 30%, then pay the balance at least 4 weeks before your trip date depending on your destination.

Where in the stadiums will we be sitting?

If we know where you will be sitting we always mention this is in the inclusions section.

Unfortunately we are not always able to tell you that at the time of booking, however our destination managers work tirelessly to make sure you get the best seats. We always aim for the long side of the home supporters section.

How many people will be on the tour?

The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!

Can children / young adults join the tour?

If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.

Can you cater to dietary needs or requirements?

Our local hosts will do everything they can to cater to travellers’ needs. It’s a good idea to share your requirements at the time of booking so that our host is able to make the required preparations

Will I have to share a room?

In order to keep the costs low we always offer prices based on 2 sharing. If you make a booking for an odd number of people you or another member of your party may be paired with another traveller of the same sex. If you wish you may pay a supplement for a guaranteed single room. Simply make your booking as normal and get in touch with us to arrange this.
