I have been to many football games, but the FlaFlu derby in Maracana was a once-in-a-lifetime experience – also thanks to our guide Mattheus. This guy „breathes“ football and Flamengo. He made sure that we get the real Rio derby experience including pre-Game gatherings with the fans and seats right in between the most passionate supporters. A highlight of our 10 days in Brazil was with Matheus and seeing a Flamengo match. We booked this 6 weeks in advance, as our family loves to see games while traveling. Matheus was a Legend, well organised and offered great depth and knowledge whilst sharing my passion of football! 11/10 would recommend this experience. the intensity of the crowd was unbelievable and just made me fall in love with Brazil and Brazilian football even more!
