Hello, my name is Pedro! I’m a passionate Flamengo fan, and I want to provide you with the best Maracanã experience to witness “The Greatest in the World” – the world’s greatest fanbase! I’ve been going to Maracanã since 2005, and I want to share all the stories with you and create new ones. Our meeting point will be near the metro station. The game’s atmosphere starts at the station, then we’ll meet other local fans, and later we’ll have some beers at the classic Salete bar, where the crowd begins to gather for the match. We’ll complete the experience at Brazil’s most important stadium! After the two World Cup finals at Maracanã, all “flamenguistas” can call Maracanã home. Words cannot describe what you’ll witness with our fans – the most passionate fanbase in the world! At the end of the day, we’ll return to the metro station. You don’t need to worry about the stadium ticket and metro fare; I’ve got that covered. Vamos Flamengo sempre!
The fixtures available for booking are those that have been announced, however, it is important to note that changes may occur, with the possibility of an advance or delay of one or two days. We recommend you to consider this when making your wider travel plans.
After completing your booking, you will receive an official confirmation from Homefans. In the days leading up to the experience, the local host will be in charge of welcoming you and, later, providing detailed information about the experience. Hosts make contact a few weeks before the event via email and/or WhatsApp to ensure you are fully informed and prepared.
The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!
For the game itself, it is not necessary to bring your passport. You may take it for identification purposes only. We recommend that you carry a copy or photo on your phone for convenience.
Yes, it is allowed to consume alcoholic beverages before and during games in Brazil, with the exception of games in São Paulo, in which the consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted inside the stadium.
The transportation service is detailed in the “What you get” section. However, in group experiences, it is common for the local host to schedule a convenient meeting point, providing the opportunity for everyone to head towards the event together.
If available, your local host can provide these additional items for your convenience. When booking, note whether the host offers these items as extra options. If so, simply select the desired items and the desired quantity. The local host will arrange these items in advance and deliver them personally when you meet for the experience.
Seating locations are specified in the “What you get” section.
Yes, everyone will be together in the same sector, with the freedom to choose their own chairs. In Brazil, there are no assigned seats, allowing total flexibility in choosing seats.
The possibility of upgrading will depend on the experience in question. If this option is available, you can upgrade by selecting extra items during the booking process. However, we recommend that you contact the local host in advance via the messaging tab to confirm availability and ensure a personalized experience.
For some clubs and stadiums in Brazil, it is necessary to register for facial recognition. Clubs that require this procedure are clearly indicated in the description of each experience. When booking your seats, the local host will contact you promptly to request the necessary information and guide you through the facial registration process. It is important to highlight that, for these clubs and stadiums, the registration of facial biometrics is mandatory, being the only way to access the stadium, as the ticket will be linked to this identification. Facial recognition registration is a policy of clubs and stadiums, and has no relationship with Homefans and/or local hosts. Furthermore, to participate in the experience, you must agree to go through this process and register your face.
Although the experiences involve walking, yes, it is possible to participate. Please inform your local host of this consideration, and they will arrange the best and most comfortable way for you to participate.
It is possible to use both credit cards and cash outside and inside the stadium. However, it is important to note that it is not possible to use international debit cards considering you are a foreigner.
If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However, for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.
