Would you like to discover one of the most iconic football clubs in the world? Join lifelong Celtic fan, Lindsay, on a trip to Glasgow and enjoy a unique football experience. 

Celtic Park is located in the heart of Glasgow’s East End, and is affectionately known to Celtic supporters the world over as ‘Paradise’.

The club was born out of adversity and for the purpose of charity; its aim to provide valuable meals for children and the unemployed.

Since our humble beginnings in 1888 the club have gone on to become the dominant side in Scottish football and a European stalwart. Celtic have played in three European finals and became the first British & non-latin club to lift the European Cup in 1967. We did so playing a style of football that would make any neutral happy – pure, beautiful, inventive football.

Celtic has produced some of the world’s best footballers: Jimmy McGrory, Charlie Tully, Jimmy ‘JInky’ Johnstone, Billy McNeil, Bobby Lennox, Danny McGrain, Kenny Dalglish, Tommy Burns, Paul McStay, and many more. Many special players have also come to play in the famous green & white hoops, including: Pierre van Hooijdonk, Henrik Larsson, Lubo Moravcik, Stillian Petrov, Shunsuke Nakamura, Artur Boruc, Virgil van Dijk and many more.


After months of waiting, you will finally get to enter “Paradise” to watch Celtic play live, to hear ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, to witness The Huddle & to experience the Green Brigade – Celtic’s fanatical fan group.

On this match day experience, you will meet in a Celtic pub close to the stadium & enjoy a beer with Celtic supporters. You will take in their passion, their stories, their history & the atmosphere they generate.

After that, you will be escorted to the stadium, in good time, so you won’t miss a thing!

Every single game, you can expect a thrilling atmosphere and a warm welcome from the Glasgow natives.

Is Homefans responsible for the activity?

Even though we are a friendly bunch, we are not directly responsible for the activity.

We are a marketplace, which means we facilitate that travellers like yourself, take part in a sports experience offered by a fully-vetted local host who has enrolled on the platform.

The responsibility to carry out the activity relies exclusively on the local host. However, we as a marketplace act in the interests of everyone, supervising everything and facilitating  communication and support when needed for a flawless experience.

Is the match date confirmed?

Whilst the fixture calendar has been released, final confirmed dates are usually announced 2-3 weeks before the kick-off date, due to TV schedule. It is possible then, that Sunday matches will move to Saturday and vice-versa.  The local hosts will keep you posted in case there is a change.

When will I receive confirmation of the tour?

When you choose and pay for your an activity on the Homefans marketplace, you will receive a booking confirmation directly after the booking via email. In this confirmation, you will get all the details of your booking.

What does an activity include?

An activity on the Homefans marketplace involves a fully-vetted host, who offers a specific experience around a sporting event (match day experience with a ticket for the game) or some other cultural experiences (walking tours, stadium & museum tours with a local, among others).

They last between 2 hours up to a whole day. Please check the inclusions in each activity on the “What’s Included‘ section.

How will the host get in touch?

Once the booking is done, you will receive an order confirmation and the Homefans tech platform will notify the host about it. You can always chat with the host on the marketplace by clicking on the ‘ASK A QUESTION‘ button – you will send and receive messages you can check on your own dashboard with email notifications.

A few days prior to the game, the host will get in touch with you via Whatsapp to arrange the appropriate logistics.

How are the activities planned and executed?

The activities on the Homefans marketplace are designed and executed by fully-vetted locals that have been approved by Homefans.

How many people will be on the tour?

The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above.

However,  this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own.

Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!

Can I pay a deposit for an activity?

Unfortunately, given that the activities are 100% offered by local hosts onboarded on the Homefans marketplace, this is not possible.

All activities are paid 100% upfront to ensure a correct preparation by the local host.

I have to cancel my activity - what can I do?

If you foresee that you cannot longer attend the activity you booked, you can do it within the next 24 hours after your booking was done.

According to our Terms & Conditions, after the 24 hour window, the host cancellation policy applies, and it depends on each host.  Given that it involves tickets, it’s usually non-refundable.

If you have solid grounds on why you want to cancel, please get in touch with Homefans and we will facilitate the process with the local host.

Can I upgrade my seat location?

Please get in touch with the local host on the activity’s page (and clicking the ASK A QUESTION button) to enquire – the local host will let you know if it’s possible.
