Overview

Hi everyone,

My name is Pietro and I’m a passionate Ajax Amsterdam supporter since I was a child.

On the matchday we will meet 3/4 hours prior to kick-off at the central train station of Amsterdam. From there on I will show you the most characteristic spots of Amsterdam and then we will head towards the Johan Cruijff Arena. There we will enjoy ourselves the biggest and best club from the Netherlands and see the players with the AJAX-DNA play. Here, the journey of many players like Ibrahimovic, Cruijff and van Basten started.

I will offer you some typical Dutch food and drinks like ‘Broodje van Dobben kroket’ and ‘Brouwerij ‘t IJ’. The main goal is to introduce people with this beautiful club and show them around. During the match I will be seated next/really close to you.

Just a brilliant day with Pietro at Ajax v Groningen. Pietro was very helpful in the lead-up to the game, advising me of a change in kickoff time and making sure that this would not cause me issues with my flight home after the game. We met at the Centraal train station four hours before kickoff and Pietro took us for beer and food before we headed down to the stadium. We took in some of the atmosphere outside the stadium before going in shortly before kickoff. The Johan Cruyff Arena isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside it is spectacular, and the ultras made an impressive noise. Pietro really added to the experience with his great knowledge of Ajax and Dutch football in general, and his great stories. Getting from the stadium to the airport is super easy - the game finished at 6:45 and I was at the airport and through security by 8:00 - really efficient. Highly recommend making the trip to this stadium, and also very easy to do as a multi-game trip - the trains are cheap and efficient, and even somewhere like Groningen is only 2 hours from Amsterdam.

A Fantastic Experience Watching Ajax V Sparta Rotterdam 9/12/23

I had a great time watching this match and would highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience an Ajax match and the Johan Cruijff ArenA. From booking Pietro was very helpful and communicated very well informing me of a change in the date for the match and in general for my stay in Amsterdam about sites to visit, transport tickets and more. On the day itself, unfortunately the weather was very bad so we didn't explore Amsterdam as much, but we still had a good time enjoying some Heinekens and local Dutch food which I hadn't tried before, which was very good! Pietro is very knowledgeable and one of my favourite things about the experience was learning about Ajax and talking about Dutch football including other Eredivisie clubs, players and The Nederlands in general. The match itself was a close one with Ajax winning 2-1 including some good goals and plenty of attacking play. Myself, the 2 other lads from the UK who were on this experience, Pietro and his friend were all able to sit together behind the Ultras where there was a very loud atmosphere and we all had good views of the pitch. SC Heerenveen game 5/11/23

I booked for the SC Heerenveen game that has jus taken place on Sunday 5th November 2023. From first booking the experience, Pietro was fantastic in reaching out to me to introduce himself and offer any advice for visiting Amsterdam. When the game was move from the Saturday, Pietro contacted myself to make sure that I could attend and arrange a different meeting place due to me going to see FC Utrecht earlier in the day. It was great to meet a a Father and Son who had also booked this game through Homefans/Pietro and that made the day even better. We were very lucky to get seats behind the Ajax “Ultras” end and Pietro’s knowledge on Ajax is immense. This was then completed by a 4-1 victory for Ajax which is a rare experience indeed so far this season (only joking Pietro!). I would wholeheartedly recommend going on this experience and having Pietro as your host. Thanks again Pietro.
