Combine a visit to beautiful Prague with the red-hot city derby between Slavia and Sparta.
Prague is a city of stunning architecture, fascinating history, and great beer. And if that wasn’t enough – the city’s football scene is well worth a visit. Your trip to Slavia-Sparta Prague shows you the best of this wonderful city and lets you experience it’s biggest derby like a local.
You’ll explore Prague’s fairytale streets, sample hearty local cuisine, and sip a whole load of Czech pilsner. All with the help of your local guide and trip manager Michal.
Of course, the main event of your weekend is the Prague derby. And as matchdays go, they don’t get much better than this. You’ll start with a tour at the world-famous Staropramen brewery. Before moving on to local supporters and a stadium full of noise, colour, and pyro.
As a city break destination, Prague ticks all the boxes. And when you combine this with an ancient city rivalry shared with a small group of like-minded football fans – you get the kind of weekend every football fan dreams of. Your tickets and accommodation are included in the price and your local host will help you to discover Prague like a local.
Welcome to Prague!
Today, people from all over the world will arrive for the Prague derby.
You'll meet your local guide at the hotel, followed by visiting the Staropramen brewery, the second largest in the country. It was founded in 1869 and now provides guided tours with an explanation of brewing processes and tasting!
Before heading for a traditional Czech dinner in a great local pub. Believe us, they are dedicated to Czech traditional hospitality - and you're sure to love it!
Later on, we can go downtown and visit some of the city's best bars.
Are you ready for the perfect football day?
We will start with a nice walk around the historical city centre. You will then head to the Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock - the heart of the city, both in a geographic and cultural sense. After that, we will continue to Charles Bridge where you will find the best view on Prague Castle.
After tasting some delicious beers, it is time for some football! We will head to the stadium, where you'll enjoy the great atmosphere of Prague's biggest derby. In a sold-out stadium full of noise, colour, and pyro.
Our local host Michal will always be with you. Taking you to great bars around the stadium where you can talk to local supporters. He'll then escort you safely to your seats. Complete with a great view of the Ultras section!
After the match, we recommend another Czech pub dinner to chat about the day you've had. And for the tireless ones, why not enjoy the buzzing Prague nightlife?
The trip is sadly done. But we can still sit down for lunch one last time before saying our goodbyes!
No, you can secure your place with a deposit, then pay the balance at least 4 weeks before your trip date depending on your destination.
If we know where you will be sitting we always mention this is in the inclusions section.
Unfortunately we are not always able to tell you that at the time of booking, however our destination managers work tirelessly to make sure you get the best seats. We always aim for the long side of the home supporters section.
The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!
If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.
Our local hosts will do everything they can to cater to travellers’ needs. It’s a good idea to share your requirements at the time of booking so that our host is able to make the required preparations
In order to keep the costs low we always offer prices based on 2 sharing. If you make a booking for an odd number of people you or another member of your party may be paired with another traveller of the same sex. If you wish you may pay a supplement for a guaranteed single room. Simply make your booking as normal and get in touch with us to arrange this.
