Join us in Milan and see one of the great city derbies the local way.
Milan balances history and romance with a fast-paced business lifestyle.
There are a number of reasons to spend time here:
The architecture. The food. The fashion. The beautiful lakes and mountains nearby.
But for football fans, only one reason matters – the fact that Milan is a football capital of epic proportions. Home to two of the biggest clubs on earth and one of the world’s most iconic stadiums.
This trip lets you explore Milan at the best possible time – the weekend where Inter and AC Milan meet in the Derby Della Madonnina.
Led by your local guide, you’ll experience the huge buzz the derby generates across the city. And watch the incredible San Siro burst into life as it’s two tenants fight it out.
Your tour includes accommodation, match tickets and a San Siro stadium tour. A supreme city. Two massive clubs. And a stadium that gives you shivers every time you see it. This weekend in Milan is not to be missed.
Today is gathering day. Our local host Pedro Trevisan will meet you at your perfectly located hotel.
After you arrive, you can either rest or drop your bags and have a nice walk around the magical Piazza del Duomo square.
After having an amazing local lunch, Pedro will show you some of the best sights in Milan before heading to a local bar. So you can relax with a couple of beers after an awesome first day!
Match Day!
The Derby Della Madonnina is more than just a fixture. It is a tradition and a major sporting attraction. It is also a rivalry of unique complexity that means many different things to the clubs on either side.
The match is one without the political and religious differences ingrained in other derbies around the world. Instead, it has been a rivalry defined by sporting merits and an unrelenting desire for trophies and prestige.
You'll meet Pedro at noon and head for some pizzas and beers in a very traditional Italian restaurant. It's the perfect way to start derby day!
A few hours before the match, Pedro will take you to a typical place where Milan fans meet and get ready for the game. Giving you the chance to meet local fans and see how they prepare for their biggest game of the year.
Then you'll enter one of the greatest stadiums in the world and watch on as to great clubs fight for control of the city.
After the match, you can head on to one of Milan's famous bars or rest for your early flight.
While still recovering from an intense derby weekend, it's time to pack your bags and say goodbye to Milan. All while reflecting on the great time you've had, and of course - planning your next trip with Homefans!
No, you can secure your place with a deposit, then pay the balance at least 4 weeks before your trip date depending on your destination.
If we know where you will be sitting we always mention this is in the inclusions section.
Unfortunately we are not always able to tell you that at the time of booking, however our destination managers work tirelessly to make sure you get the best seats. We always aim for the long side of the home supporters section.
The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!
If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.
Our local hosts will do everything they can to cater to travellers’ needs. It’s a good idea to share your requirements at the time of booking so that our host is able to make the required preparations
In order to keep the costs low we always offer prices based on 2 sharing. If you make a booking for an odd number of people you or another member of your party may be paired with another traveller of the same sex. If you wish you may pay a supplement for a guaranteed single room. Simply make your booking as normal and get in touch with us to arrange this.
