COVID-19 Travel Requirements

Travel looks a bit different at the moment, given the advice is ever-changing and will vary depending on where you live Homefans is not publishing specific information however we are linking here to the Czech Ministry of Interior where you will find the latest advice.

For entry to the stadium you will need to prove you are double vaccinated.

My name is Michal and I’m passionate Slavia fan. I’ll show you the local passion for football and I’ll also take you through the beautiful historic streets of Prague!

Our tour and meeting point will be in the centre of the Old Town. I’ll show you the most famous Prague sights like Statue of St. Wenceslas, National Museum, Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock, Rudolfinum, Charles Bridge, Lennon Wall and Prague Castle with beautiful view on Prague. We’ll have lunch in a typical Czech Pub near Rudolfinum. You can taste Pilsner beer, arguably the best beer in the world. In combination with a typical Czech national dish – Knedlo, vepro, zelo (Dumpling, pork, cabbage) or pork knee, it’s a real gastronomic experience. It will put a big smile on your face 😊.

Then we’ll take a tram to Sinobo Stadium – the Czech Republic’s most modern and biggest football stadium. We’ll visit the fanshop before kick-off, you can choose between a lot of Slavia scarves, kits or souvenirs.

Let’s enjoy thrilling atmosphere full of noise, pyro and passionate Slavia supporters. I’ll teach you the fans chants and explain their meaning.

Welcome to my city of Prague, get carried away and let me immerse you into the local culture from a football perspective!

For my Matchday Experience in Slavia Prague, you can chose your seating area ! Fancy a game in the Ultras standing tribune (short side), or rather a panoramic view on the pitch (long side)? Let me know at the time of your booking so I can get you the tickets that you want !

Will the stadiums be open in 2021/22? At what capacity?

Homefans believe that stadiums will be open to fans, however we cannot at this stage confirm what the capacity will be.  However our flexible booking policies mean that if the stadium will only accept 50% fans and you decide you only want to travel with 100% attendance you can swap to another venue or another date.

Will I need to prove I am vaccinated? Or show a negative test?

This will vary destination to destination and based on your nationality and age. Therefore Homefans are not able to advise on this.  Please check the foreign ministry of your destination and home country and the stadium requirements.  Again, if you find the requirements too much you can defer to later in the season/year when they relax further.

COVID-19 hasn’t gone away- should I still book?

We believe so, we all need something to look forward to.  But we understand that people may be apprehensive which is why we have created a flexible cancellation policy which means in the event that the event does not happen the amount paid simply becomes Homefans credit.

You can transfer this to a later date (with no time limit), transfer to another tour, or even give it to a friend. This flexibility also applies if you decide to cancel for any reason (as long as you give us 45 days notice)

Where in the stadium will we be sitting?

If we know where you will be sitting we always mention this is in the inclusions section.

Unfortunately we are not always able to tell you that at the time of booking, however our destination managers work tirelessly to make sure you get the best seats. We always aim for the long side of the home supporters section.

How many people will be on the tour?

The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!

Can children / young adults join the tour?

If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.

Is the match date confirmed?

Weekend matches can move from Saturday to Sunday and vice-versa.  We provide the current scheduled date but we would advise you only to book the matchday experience if you are available in the destination for the whole weekend.
