Hello, my name is Raul and I have been a passionate football fan since my childhood. This passion has led me to pursue a career as a sports journalist. In this experience, I would love to take you to my favorite place in Rio, to be eye witness of the amazing atmosphere that only Flamengo supporters can delivery.
Maracanã is the most famous football stadium in the world, it´s importance for Brazil goes beyond than just being a sports venue. This is where brazilians from all diferent regions of the country meets driven by their unexplainable passion for their clubs.
Flamengo is the most popular club of Brazil, it was founded in 1895 at the neighborhood of same name, in the south side of Rio de Janeiro. It is estimated that 40 million people are fans of Flamengo in Brazil. If the club was a country, it would have a bigger population than 84% of the countries in the world. That is why it´s proud supporters like to call themselves “Nação”, a nation!
Through our official partnership with the club, we obtained official tickets without intermediaries, in addition we have included admission to the Flamengo Museum, currently one of the most visited attractions in Rio de Janeiro.
Let´s get together with the local supporters, sing the chants, fly the flags, support the players and listen to stories about the past and future heroes of these grounds.
