Booking Confirmation:

After booking your multi-day trip through Homefans and paying the initial deposit, you’ll receive a booking confirmation email. This email will contain important details such as your booking reference number, trip itinerary, and contact information for your Homefans travel coordinator.

Pending Payment Reminder:

Approximately 90 days before the departure date, you’ll receive a reminder to complete the payment for your trip. This payment will cover the remaining balance of your trip cost. Homefans will provide you with various payment options to make this process convenient for you.

Payment Completion:

Upon completing the remaining payment for your trip, you’ll receive a confirmation email acknowledging the receipt of your payment. This email may also contain additional information or instructions regarding your upcoming trip.

Pre-Trip Information:

Approximately 3 weeks before the departure date, you can expect to receive a comprehensive pre-trip booking overview from Homefans. This overview will include detailed information about your itinerary, accommodation details, transportation arrangements, contact information from your host or trip manager, and any other pertinent details you need to know before embarking on your next football adventure with Homefans.

In Europe, games are usually confirmed 6 weeks before kick-off. We advise keeping that in mind when you book your flights. Need assistance from Homefans? Feel free to reach out to our operations team.

In South America, the official dates for games are usually 1-2 weeks before kick-off and very last minute. For the longer multi-day trips we advise to arrive on a Friday and depart on Monday to get the most out of your time in South America. Should you find a better deal for flights and want to arrive earlier, that’s no problem at all. Reach out to our operations team and we’ll add an extra night to your stay with a surcharge.

Trip Preparation:

With the pre-trip information in hand, you’ll have everything you need to prepare for your adventure. This may include arranging transportation to the starting point of the trip, packing appropriate clothing and gear, securing travel insurance, and familiarising yourself with any cultural or logistical considerations specific to your destination.

Whatsapp Group

We set up Whatsapp group for trips with all travellers and hosts for all communications around the trip. This usually happens around 2 weeks before departure so there’s time for you to get to know other travellers or the host for your trip. Feel free to ask any questions and get ready for your trip!

Departure:

On the day of departure, you’ll meet your fellow travellers and host at the designated meeting point specified in the booking overview or on Whatsapp. Your host will provide a warm welcome, go over any last-minute details, and ensure that everyone is prepared for the journey ahead.

Enjoying the Trip:

Throughout your multi-day trip, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the destination’s culture, explore its attractions, and participate in various activities and excursions planned by Homefans. Your host will be there to facilitate your experience, provide insights, and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Post-Trip Feedback:

After returning from your trip, Homefans may reach out to collect feedback about your experience. Your input is valuable in helping them continually improve their services and offerings for future travellers.
