We have designed for you an amazing, local and authentic tour of this city, with football matches, stadium tours, city tour and much more!
With Homefans, you will immerse yourself for 8 days in the Mexican Football Culture, discovering the little gems, hidden street food tacos, attend the famous “Lucha Libre”, all accompanied by a born and raised local Mexico City host.
You will experience and tick-off from your bucket list a match at Estadio Azteca, one of the most important stadiums in the history of the sport, stage where Brazil won the World Cup of 1970 and Maradona scored the the best goal in FIFA World Cup history. You will also watch a second match as part of either the Mexican National League or the Cup. The clubs we will be seeing are Club América and Cruz Azul, they are eternal rivals and you will have the chance to learn about their history, make friends with some of their fans, experience their songs, traditions and murals.
We will always begin our matchday experience picking you up at the hotel and driving to the surroundings of the stadium. Over there, we have 2 hours to eat the most delicious and traditional street food, drink local beers and chat with the fans. Entering the stadium is just incredible! It is huge and we will have good spots to check the party made in the stands!
Also, there will be a day in which your local host will take you on a city tour. And don’t forget our amazing night of “Lucha Libre”! We will go to one of the most traditional sports in México, of course, accompanied by good local beers and appetizers!
For this special itinerary, we’ve managed to include, just for you, a City Taco Pub Crawl! Join us to discover and taste some of the best tacos in the world. We’ll walk through the chic and hip neighbourhoods of Polanco, Condesa or Roma. We’ll get into the colourful markets and hop from brick-and-mortar establishments to street stands, sampling a variety of tacos influenced by Mexico’s diverse geography and culture. We’ll wash the tacos down with cold beer or mezcal, a spirit made from the agave plant.
Before the end of the adventure, we will enjoy another match at the Azteca Stadium.
