The Old Firm is a dizzying combination of football, politics, and religion.
All compressed into one city where the levels of fan obsession and media attention reach fever pitch.
Despite everything, football is still the main driver of this rivalry.
Because for all their differences, Celtic and Rangers have one thing in common – an endless obsession with being the best.

You’ll experience the Old Firm through local eyes. By building up to the match in authentic Rangers pubs near the stadium and getting the inside track on this deep-rooted rivalry.
All before taking your place at the magnificent Ibrox Stadium for an afternoon you’ll never forget.
Glasgow is full of surprises – but the Old Firm lives up to its reputation every single time.
This extended 3 day packages gives you 2 nights in Glasgow, 1 before and 1 after the big match allowing you plenty of time to experience the myriad charms of Scotland’s second city.
The weekend you've been waiting for is here!
All morning, people will arrive from across the world to attend the mighty Old Firm. Once you've checked in into your hotel, there’s some time to recover from your journey or do some sightseeing in Glasgow city centre.
Everything is possible. Like having dinner with the group at one of Glasgow's great restaurants. Or if you're feeling adventurous - make the most of your Saturday night with a few drinks.
It's Match Day!
Old Firm games usually kick off at around 12:30. So you'll wake up early and meet Thomas in the hotel.
Once everyone is together, you'll catch the Subway to a typical pub where Rangers fans drink and sing before the match. There's no better way to see this rivalry from this inside and hear local fans' stories about their love for Rangers.
As for the game itself, it'll be a blur of noise and action. Celtic have had the upper hand for almost a decade now. But Rangers are getting closer - which adds even more urgency to Old Firm matches. It won't disappoint!
After the match, as you are staying another night, there’s plenty of time to do more sightseeing. Such as a stadium tour of Hampden Park, a graffiti tour, or even a Whisky Tour through the streets of the old town.
Your time in Glasgow has come to an end but hopefully we will see you soon on another Homefans trip.
