Overview

Join us in Milan and and enjoy a weekend which combines football and sightseeing.

Milan balances history and romance with a modern cosmopolitan city. There are a number of reasons to spend time here: The architecture, the food, the fashion and the beautiful lakes and mountains nearby.

But for football fans, only one reason matters – the fact that Milan is a football capital of epic proportions.  Home to two of the biggest clubs on earth and one of the world’s most iconic stadiums.

On this AC Milan match break you will experience the city accompanied by a local AC Milan fan.   You’ll attend a high-profile home fixture and with the guidance of your local host you will experience the match including the pre-match build up like a local.

Your local host will also take you on a walking tour which covers the highlights of this wonderful city.  You’ll also take a tour behind the scenes at the San Siro stadium. There is plenty of free time in the itinerary and your host will be able to help you fill that time by seeing and doing what interests you.

Your tour includes accommodation, match tickets, city tour and stadium tour – this weekend in Milan is not to be missed.

Book with confidence

During this weekend you will be guaranteed access to the following matches:

AC Milan v S.S. Lazio (07/05)*
AC Milan v Sampdoria (21/05)*

* Final dates TBC due to TV schedule.

You can secure your place with a 35% deposit and should circumstances change this becomes credit for any future trip. For more information about our flexible policies scroll down to read our FAQs or visit our Book with Confidence page.

Note: it is possible that the matches may move between Saturday and Sunday – therefore we suggest you book flights which arrive in Milan as early as possible on Saturday and leave as late as possible on Sunday.  If no early flights are available, or in order to make the experience more relaxed you can also book an additional night under “extras”.

FAQs

Are Italy's stadiums open? At what capacity?

As of October 2021 Italy’s stadiums are opening at 75% capacity.

However please note that this is subject to immediate change without notice and that Homefans and our local hosts have no control over this.

Will I need to prove I am vaccinated? Or show a negative test?

Yes, for major sporting events Italy has a Green Pass.  You will need to show proof of double vaccination in the official pass issued by your government.  Failing that you can show proof of a negative PCR taken 48 hours prior to arrival in Italy (72 hours for US, Canada, Israel or Japan)

Is the match date confirmed?

We publish the latest information we have from the clubs regarding the schedule.  However these are tentative.  For weekend fixtures matches can take place any time from Friday to Sunday.  For midweek matches you should be prepared for the match to take place one day earlier or later than stated.  Please consider this when making your wider travel plans.

Where in the stadium will I be sitting?

Please refer to the inclusions section.

In the rare event this is not documented this means that we source different tickets match to match.  We will always strive to offer you the best seats available.

How many people will be on the tour?

The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!

Can children / young adults join the tour?

If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.
