The Role

We are looking for a Business Developer to drive the growth of our marketplace by expanding the number of local and international partners who can bring unique sports experiences to our platform and drive bookings globally.

You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and securing sales across multiple markets. Your entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach will be instrumental in overcoming the challenges of our growth phase.

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals. You will cultivate a strong pipeline of leads, build relationships with key decision-makers, and develop partnerships with travel companies, clubs, federations, and any potential contributors to our growth.

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Developer, you’ll directly contribute to Homefans’ growth by building partnerships, increasing supply, and driving bookings across multiple markets. Your role will have a significant impact on the supply-demand mix of our platform, focusing on offline partnerships and diminishing the reliance on online performance marketing.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying and prospecting new leads and contacts across global markets.
  • Setting up partnerships with travel companies, clubs, and federations to increase bookings and drive revenue.
  • Developing and executing strategies to secure new partnerships and revenue streams.
  • Running high-volume outreach campaigns (emails, calls, LinkedIn) to secure meetings and build relationships.
  • Increasing the supply of experiences and hosts across key markets and optimizing demand allocation.
  • Collaborating with the Growth Team on various initiatives to enhance supply quality and revenue per listing.
  • Working on special projects to expand market share and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management roles.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Energetic, motivated, and driven to succeed in a sales environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Passionate about the travel, leisure, and sports industries.
  • Experience with international accounts and partnership networks is a plus.
  • Experience in tech marketplace companies is highly valued.
