The Role
As a Business Development Intern, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of partners and driving growth in both supply and demand channels. This position is ideal for students in the sports industry who have cultivated a strong network and are eager to build this area from the ground up. You will be responsible for establishing partnerships with clubs, athletes, travel companies, and securing new distribution channels across travel and sports sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Supply Partnerships: Identify and establish relationships with sports clubs, athletes, and travel companies to enhance our offerings.
- Drive Demand Partnerships: Secure deals with new distribution channels in the travel and sports industries to increase user acquisition.
- Lead Sourcing and Deal Closure: Proactively source leads and negotiate agreements with key stakeholders, particularly within the football industry, to expand our network and service offerings.
- Conduct Market Research: Analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and partnership development.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align partnership strategies with company objectives.
- Manage Relationships: Maintain and nurture relationships with partners to ensure long-term collaboration and success.
- Assist in Strategy Development: Contribute to the creation of business development strategies that drive both supply and demand growth.
- Work directly with one of the Founders to execute the B2B growth strategy.
What Do You Like to Do & What Have You Already Done:
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field.
- You have a strong network within the sports industry, including connections with clubs, athletes, and organizations.
- You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- You are self-motivated, proactive, and capable of building initiatives from scratch.
- You have a passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports and travel industries.
- You are analytical, with the ability to assess market opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- You are organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
