Tobi, by his own admission, doesn’t support the biggest team in Buenos Aires but they are the club of his family.
And that passion really came across from him in welcoming us to his club with a plethora of knowledge passed on to us and he made us feel very welcome.
He also took us to a local bar for pre match food and drinks and the locals on the terraces were very welcoming too when they realised we were English, all wanting to take pictures with us.
It was a heartwarming experience with Tobi and one I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.
Our host was Tobias, A good guy who is a keen Platense fan. We watched a game v Independiente . We were picked up at the time agreed and taken back after the game. Tobias delivered exactly what was agreed via homefans. Platense is one of the smaller clubs of the 8 we watched on our trip as a result you feel must closer to the 'grass roots' of football here and closer to the fans. A smaller but just as passionate crowd. Tobias informed us of the history of Platense and the issues that effect the club, he told us about their main rivals. Overall a great experience and well worth visiting this club.
Amazing atmosphere in the ground. Our host Tobias picked us up from the hotel and took us for prematch drinks and once the game ended he took us back to our hotel.

Had a great time with Tobias, communication prior to the match was good, he picked me up from my hotel, had a beer before the match in a local bar, he gave me a lot of information about Platense and after the match he droped me of at my hotel again, everything was perfect!
