Millwall en Westham zijn twee compleet verschillende clubs, maar beide bezoeken waren de moeite waard. Voor de rauwe voetbal beleving moet je bij Millwall zijn, maar bij de beide hebben we prima een pint kunnen doen met de locals! De mannen van homefans waren continu bereikbaar en behulpzaam (thanks Ivan)! Dit was onze eerste maar zeker niet laatste trip met homefans.

Ever since hearing the cry of the words "Roma Roma Roma core de 'sta Citta unico grande amore de tanta e tanta gente m'hai fatto 'nammora" beaming through the stadium, I'm unable to get the tune of the chant out of my head. The atmosphere was in a word magical and I could watch the Curva Sud for hours on end. Their support is fantastic, even despite the stadium being filled 50% because of Covid, (you wouldn't have known by the way), so so good. Nic and Simone were gracious hosts and great people. They gave us an insight to the club and their zealous fans. Thanks a lot guys, you really added massively to the experience!! The game itself was a great watch and one of my mates at the end said "as if we got a 90th minute winner, are you fucking serious, yesssss!". It was also momentous as it was Mourinho's 1000th managerial game. Serie A looks really thrilling this year so would 100% recommend it! Worth every single penny. I will undoubtedly go to Rome again and when I do, I'll definitely go see Roma again. Rome is one of the greatest cities in the world and it's an absolute must to see A.S. Roma play whilst you're there! It's easily one of the best things I've done and is an experience I'll cherish forever. Grazie mille Nic i Simone!

It has always been my dream to go the San Siro one day. And since it is about to be demolished I'm very happy to have been there. Pedro was a great host, so thank you for that!

Mijn derde trip via Homefans, 5 januari 2020 Merseyside derby. Op speciaal verzoek, mocht in van Home Fans mijn zoontje meenemen. De wedstrijd was op zondag, en hadden we tijd om op zaterdag een andere wedstrijd in de buurt te bezoeken. Hier had Home Fans ook tickets geregeld voor ons. De groep bestond uit 15 personen, wederom allemaal uit Nederland. Voor de wedstrijd kregen we een rondleiding om het stadion. Hier is genoeg te ontdekken. Daarna in een van de pubs een pint gedronken. En daarna moesten we ons melden in de Sir Kenny Dalglish stand in de Reds bar. Hier kregen we wat te drinken aangeboden en wat te eten. Een heel bijzondere plek. We zaten letterlijk om de eerste rij naast de corner vlag. Hele mooie plekken dus. De wedstrijd was voor de FA cup. En helaas speelde Liverpool met de “B” keus, maar won wel met 1-0.
