About

My name is Fernando and I am passionate about travel and sports. I was born in Buenos Aires and I will do everything possible to show you this wonderful city.

Are you in Buenos Aires and want to live the experience of Argentine football? We take you! This is going to be a unique and very local experience, we are going to go see a match at the Argentinos Juniors stadium “Diego Armando Maradona”, the same club where Diego took his first steps in professional football and the stadium where Lionel Messi debuted with the shirt of the Argentine National Team. We will encourage the 'red bug' and enjoy the true passion with which Argentines live football.

We attended an international game of the Argentinos Juniors against Corinthians and it was an incredible experience. The Juniors is the team of the neighborhood La Paternal and was the first professional club for Maradona, hence the stadium is named after El Dios. Fernando turned out to be the best host you can ask for. He replied patiently to all the question visitors may have. Our seats were very central and only a few meters behind the players benches, so we had a great view on the pitch and the game. The barrio La Paternal supports their team with great passion and emotions, which is typical for Argentinan football. I can highly recommend this very personal and authentic Argentinian football experience. It is definitely worth it and you'll have a great time with Fernando and the Juniors! Enjoy!

Fernando picked us up from where we were staying. My husband and I did not have a jersey, so Fernando brought us one of his to wear during the game. This was such a nice gesture. The game was absolutely amazing, and Fernando got us great seats. It rained during a portion of the game, but he had us sit in a part of the stadium where we were sheltered from the rain. The fans at this fame were so passionate, and they made the game experience so lively and full of energy. Argentinos Juniors won the game, which made it even more exciting. Fernando stayed with us during the game, and then he made sure we were able to see the museum afterwards. Fernando was truly a great person to attend this game with, and we would definitely love to do this again someday. Thanks Fernando!
