Join us and get to know the Football Museum at Pacaembu Stadium!
Located in an area of 6,900 m² on the other side of the stands of one of the oldest Brazilian stadiums, the Paulo Machado de Carvalho Municipal Stadium – Pacaembu, the Football Museum was opened on September 29, 2008, and is one of the most visited museums in the country.
The main exhibition, distributed in 15 thematic rooms, narrates in a playful and interactive way how football arrived in Brazil and became part of our history and our culture. It is a museum, therefore, open to all audiences, lovers or not of the most popular sport on the planet.
The Museum is fully accessible to the public of people with disabilities and foreigners, offering varied resources, both for physical accessibility (escalators, elevators, tactile floor, wheelchair) and for communicational accessibility (audio guides in English, Spanish and for the blind, tactile models, sensory materials, etc.). In 2013, it opened the Brazilian Football Reference Center, which has the first public library specialized in football in the country, with more than 3,000 national and foreign titles.
We will meet in the lobby of your hotel and proceed in the best way to the Football Museum at Pacaembu Stadium, which will certainly be the subway. Please note that our visits will be from 11:00 AM to 15:00 PM.
