In this matchday experience led by local host Timothei, you will see one of the unique European derbies! This rivalry can be traced all the way back to 1920’s and because of that it’s also named “the eternal derby”.

Although Dinamo is from the capital of Croatia and Hajduk is from the coast, this game is a derby indeed! The mighty Dinamo versus the tradition-filled Hajduk! The Bad Blue Boys versus the oldest club supporter group in Europe, Torcida!

See the derby that so many world-class players have played before, such as Luka Modrić, Davor Šuker, Zvonimir Boban, Robert Prosinečki, Robert Jarni and much more!

Although Dinamo has been more successful in the last 15 years, this game absolutely never disappoints! Live the experience of the “eternal derby” by getting to know the town of Zagreb and it’s history, drinking a few beers at the pubs around the stadiums filled with the Bad Blue Boys and enjoying the game at the Maksimir stadium, the home of Dinamo Zagreb!

Timothei really went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time whilst in Zagreb, we met for food and drink both nights before the game day and he helped sort out things for me to do during the day and even tried to help me when I went off to Rome. He’s a great guy and really made this experience special for me!

We had a great weekend in Zagreb. Our host Timothei took care of us all weekend. On the first night he showed us some really cool restaurants and bars around the city. The second day we met the other travellers and had some beers together before the game. Dinamo won the derby after scoring 2 goals in extra time. The atmosphere was intense and we saw a lot of pyro. We are looking forward to our next trip with Homefans. Thanks Timothei & Homefans!

We booked the Croatian derby Matchday Experience with 4 friends. We got on a flight early on Saturday morning. Timothei (the host) welcomed us right away as soon as we arrived in Zagreb. The whole matchday was crazy; he took us to the best restaurants,bars en places in Zagreb. Before the game we got some beers in a really cool supporters bar on the street to the stadium. The atmosphere during the game was crazy and we saw things we had never seen before (the pyro show of the BBB was out of this world). Dinamo won the game and there was a crazy party (they became champions) The next day we also met with Timothei and we had some beers while we talked for hours. Timothei, thank you so much for this weekend and we will meet again soon! Dinamo je sampion!!
