Going to Lisbon? Then, I invite you to watch a Sporting CP match in Stadium José Alvalade XXI!
You probably knew Sporting for it’s academy, which formed the GOAT, but there is much more to know! Of course the match would be the highlight of the Tour, but i’ve planned a full day prior so that you can feel safe near the ‘ultras’ and enjoy the pre-match atmosphere, as well as get to know the Club and Portuguese Football history.
For this match day experience, I have a whole set of activities planned, but for you to get a glance of the day: We will start with a lunch in a well-know restaurant so you can try a bit of the Portuguese Cuisine, which, i must say, is a must try as it is known for being really good. Depending on your likings, I have a few in mind and very affordable places.
Whilst having lunch, I hope we all get to know each other, as well as the teams you support. From my previous experiences, it was fun to mingle at lunch the different bookings for the same matchday, as we all got along and got to know each other. After lunch, on our way to the stadiuy we would go see Sporting’s Official Store, where you can get (or at least see) Sporting Merchandise or buy a few Souvernirs.
Then we will go near the stadium to have the full #DiadeSporting, where, of course, we will hear (and try to learn) a few chants while enjoying a few beers. We, Portuguese, love to welcome and host people, above all when we see them supporting our club, so I think you will really enjoy the pre-match environment and will fit in right away. After that we’ll watch a game at Sporting’s beautiful stadium. Sit back and enjoy being part of Sporting Lisbon’s fanbase.
Check my profile on why to choose me as your Tour Guide. But as I worked as a ball-boy for Sporting i have many stories to tell and many facts about Sporting. Don’t think of me as extreme supporter as I’m chilled and sociable and it’s all about passing an experience to abroad people and enjoy a football day with friends.
PRICES MAY VARY WITH THE GAME IN QUESTION (For example for Derbys and ‘Clássicos’ a game ticket will probably be more expensive than this)
