To the east lies Nervión, Sevilla’s “second centre,” home to the iconic Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, known as ‘La Bombonera de Nervión.’ This is the fortress of Sevilla FC, seven-time Europa League champions. On matchday, the atmosphere is electric, led by the fierce Biris Norte ultras. We’ll enjoy pre-match drinks, mingle with local fans, and listen to their unforgettable stories of European triumphs. The matchday hymn, sung acapella, is a moment even Messi has called one of football’s greatest sounds.
To the south, we find Estadio Benito Villamarín, home to Real Betis and their loyal Béticos. Despite not matching Sevilla’s recent success, Betis fans fill their 60,000-seat stadium for every match, creating one of the most intense atmospheres in Spain. The Betis motto, ‘Viva el Betis manqué pierda’ (Long live Betis, even if they lose), speaks to their unwavering loyalty, representing not just a city but the whole region of Andalucía.
