My name is Gonçalo. I’m a big Benfica supporter and if you’re a football fan don’t miss the chance to watch Benfica play at Estádio da Luz, Portugal’s largest stadium!

You probably know Benfica for its rich history and legendary players, but there is so much more to discover! Of course, the match will be the highlight of the tour, but I’ve planned a full day before the game so that you can experience the passion of Benfica’s incredible fanbase, the famous “Inferno da Luz”, and learn about the club’s glorious legacy in Portuguese football.

Our day will start with a true taste of Lisbon—a delicious meal at a handpicked local restaurant where you can enjoy some of the best Portuguese dishes. Whether you’re into fresh seafood, a hearty “Bifana” sandwich, or the iconic Bacalhau à Brás, I’ll make sure you try something memorable. Over lunch, we’ll chat and get to know each other.

After lunch, we’ll visit Benfica’s Official Store, where you can check out (or buy) official merchandise and souvenirs to remember this special experience.

We’ll also visit the Benfica Museum, where you can explore the club’s legendary history, see its most iconic trophies, and relive unforgettable moments that shaped Benfica into what it is today.

Next, we’ll join Benfica’s passionate supporters outside the stadium, where the energy is contagious. You’ll hear the chants, see the red-and-white flags waving, and get swept up in the excitement of matchday in Luz. We’ll grab a couple of beers and experience the pre-game rituals that make Benfica’s fanbase one of the most respected in the world.

And then, it’s time for the main event! We’ll head inside Estádio da Luz, where the legendary Eagle flies over the pitch before kickoff—a breathtaking tradition that will give you chills. From the first whistle to the last, you’ll feel the power of the Benfiquistas singing in unison as we support the team together.

I’m not just a guide – I’m a football lover who has lived and breathed this club. Having been around the team in different ways, I have plenty of stories and insights to share.
