Real Club Deportivo Espanyol is the other side of football in Barcelona. Always at the shadow of their fellow Blaugrana neighbours, the love for this club has grown out of the feeling to show that there is a world of football beyond Camp Nou and you can find it in the RCDE Stadium. Join us for this matchday experience and get to know the rich culture and history of the other side of Barcelona!

If you are the type of football fan that likes to go beyond the football pitch and find out about every in and out of clubs then this is your tour. Why are Espanyol fans called “Los Periquitos” and what do their motto “Meravillosa Minoria” encapsulates? Find out about their 10-year wait for a stadium and what the Chinese ownership means for the club and the fans. And most importantly, understand about the actual moment in the history of the club, now back in the Second  division in Spain after a spell in La Liga Top Division, having won back promotion in former relegations. Suffering makes a part of this club and you will experience how the Espanyol feeling grows even more in times of adversity.

What you’ll experience

Be ready to enjoy RCD Espanyol as a local. We will meet in the grounds of the former and historic (already demolished) stadium of Sarrià where our adventure will start and you’ll get to know about the history of the club. Afterwards, we will go to the RCDE Stadium where we will get a taste of traditional and famous Spanish Tapas and share a beer with RCD Espanyol local fans. Afterwards, it will be kick-off time! We will get into the stadium with enough time so we can take a look around and I will take you to a surprise checkpoint inside the ground before leading you to your seats!
