Enjoy the historical atmosphere of the capital city of the Czech Republic! Prague is home to a number of well-known cultural attractions, and many of them survived the violence and conflicts of 20th-century Europe. They put together the “Royal Trail” which consists of the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle with the St. Vitus Cathedral. Since 1992, it has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. You can feel the spirit on any corner of Old Town and Lesser Town streets. And we will experience it in local pubs with renowned Czech cuisine and world-famous beer.
The Derby is a clash between Prague’s local rivals Slavia and Sparta. These clubs are considered to be the most successful in Czech football. They were both founded in the late 19th century, Slavia one year before their rivals in 1892, though Slavia did not play football until four years later.
In total, this Derby is going to be the 293rd game between Sparta and Slavia! If we look in the historical statistics, Sparta is more successful against Slavia, but this season is clearly in favor of Slavia, who leads the league standings and knocked out Sparta in the Czech Cup. They also had a great season in the UEFA Europa League, where they knocked out Sevilla FC in the round of 16 after a heroic performance. During this game, there will be huge celebrations to celebrate Slavia’s 5th league title.
