Football in Poland is the biggest demonstration of fan culture, pyros, flares and an amazing party.
As one of the most successful clubs in Poland, Legia Warsaw has gained devotion from generations of fans from Warsaw as well as around the country.
Legia supporters are considered very spontaneous, dedicated and fanatical. In terms of quality of football support, they are also often described as the best supporters in Poland, following their club at practically all away matches, both domestic and international. Who doesn’t want that? We bet the players fell the same in every game!
Traditionally, the most devoted and spontaneous fans occupy the Żyleta stand in their stadium. All kinds of things are done to make the opposite side feel the tension. They tend to be more right-wing and during communist times, in particular, Legia fans showed their patriotic and strongly anti-communistic views. Fans are also vocal with their views on domestic issues, their conflict with former Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, as well as on international politics, by way of displaying banners reading “Kosovo is Serbian” at the stadium or when they got fined by UEFA and displayed en enormous banner calling them “Greedy Pigs”.
In this experience, you will immerse yourself in 3 days of Polish football culture with Filip, our proud Homefans Local Host. He will be able to show you the best parts of the city, take you to the places where Legia Warsaw fans get together and take care of our group during the whole trip.
Are you ready to live the best of Poland?
