Overview

The Eternal City for football lovers – combine all the breathtaking history of this ancient city with an AS Roma home match.

Rome has inspired and intrigued visitors for millennia.  With breathtaking buildings and iconic sights around every corner. For over 2000 years, this city has seen epic fights and struggles for power. And although the fighting days of the gladiators at the Colosseum are gone – AS Roma still provide a spectacle worthy of this epic city.

We have handpicked a range of AS Roma home fixtures which are guaranteed to provide edge-of-your-seat football.  This includes matches against Inter Milan, Juventus and Atalanta.

Your trip to Rome will be led by a passionate AS Roma fan. Who’ll take you to the best local spots and let you experience the AS Roma experience through local eyes.  Plus you will share the whole experience with a small group of like-minded football fans.

You’ll eat the best pre-match food and drink with the Roma fans before the game. All before witnessing the battle for supremacy in the Eternal City first hand at the Olimpico.

Your 3 day tour includes accommodation, match tickets, pre-match experience and Rome sightseeing.

Book with total flexibility and security.

The city of Rome awaits!

You'll meet your local host and together enjoy a walking tour through Rome. In which you'll see all the beauty that the Eternal City has to offer. Think of the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and many more!

During our walking tour, we will also visit the largest AS Roma fan store to get a scarf or jersey for Sunday's match!

After your walking tour, we'll catch a metro to San Giovanni and go to Core de Roma, a restaurant completely decorated in the style of AS Roma. On the walls, you'll find paintings, scarves, jerseys and other AS Roma memorabilia as you enjoy local food surrounded by like-minded fans.

For dessert, we recommend going to a bar at Pompi which is near the restaurant. It is the most famous place in Rome to have tiramisu, a typical Italian dessert. There you can have a beer or two to round off the first day of this amazing weekend!

For the tireless ones why not enjoy some quality nightlife? Ask our local hosts for some recommendations.

FAQs

Are Italy's stadiums open? At what capacity?

As of October 2021 Italy’s stadiums are opening at 75% capacity.

However please note that this is subject to immediate change without notice and that Homefans and our local hosts have no control over this.

Will I need to prove I am vaccinated? Or show a negative test?

Yes, for major sporting events Italy has a Green Pass.  You will need to show proof of double vaccination in the official pass issued by your government.  Failing that you can show proof of a negative PCR taken 48 hours prior to arrival in Italy (72 hours for US, Canada, Israel or Japan)

Is the match date confirmed?

We publish the latest information we have from the clubs regarding the schedule.  However these are tentative.  For weekend fixtures matches can take place any time from Friday to Sunday.  For midweek matches you should be prepared for the match to take place one day earlier or later than stated.  Please consider this when making your wider travel plans.

Where in the stadium will I be sitting?

Please refer to the inclusions section.

In the rare event this is not documented this means that we source different tickets match to match.  We will always strive to offer you the best seats available.

How many people will be on the tour?

The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!

Can children / young adults join the tour?

If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.
