Rio de Janeiro

The birthplace of Samba, Brazil is one of the most important footballing nations on the planet. Norn between the beaches ad favelas of Rio de Janeiro are some of the world’s greatest ever footballers, with those who don’t make the journey to Europe lucky enough to play in some of the best atmospheres on the planet. The city’s famous carnival atmosphere spills into the stadiums, forming a sea of colour, noise and passion that is unmatched anywhere else.

Went to: Flamengo vs São Paulo

Watching Flamengo at the Maracanã was the highlight of our trip to Rio, and we’re so happy that we decided to go with Matheus. He takes away the stress of securing tickets, getting to the match and back, navigating the stadium etc. You will get to hang out with the fans pre-match, and then join them in the stadium. Matheus will give you the option to stand with the singing section, which I recommend – they’re all really welcoming, and will even let you try out their flags and drums. The atmosphere was unlike any match that I’ve been to before, and thankfully we got a 3-1 win! This trip is a must for any trip to Rio

Went to: Maracana Stadium Tour

What a amazing experience this is. Maybe not the best team, but there is a very nice story about this club. And the stadium is very unique by it architectural style. Main reason for me was to visit this stadium because of Romario, but this club has so much more. We did a combo visit with Maracana and Vasca da Gama on one day, and all was good organised by Matheus.
Thanks for this amazing tour.

Went to: Flamengo vs Bangu

We had an incredible time with Matheus attending the Flamengo game at Maracana. The energy in the stadium was out of this world, and it was so fun to be a real part of the action in the fan club with Matheus. As far as guides go, he was exceptional. He did an excellent job of making us feel safe and welcome at all times. His English is very good and he is a fun person to be around. It is a way better experience than trying to go to the game by yourself and figure it all out on your own. I definitely recommend doing a Flamengo game and going with Matheus makes it so much better!
