First timers guide to booking a Homefans trip
We are well aware that not everyone is born to travel the world with small groups of international football fans. We all have to start somewhere, right? We’re going to break the booking process down, helping you to get a better understanding of our trips and what it’s all about?
- Choose your Destination and Trip
The first step is always the hardest. Where do you want to watch and experience a football culture? Perhaps you might have your personal bucket list or have you never visited a particular country or club. Our trips are staged in destinations, each hand-picked for its culture, football history, local fans and stunning scenery. The world of football is at your feet. Perhaps you want to start with a smaller trip before you go with us to Argentina, the choice is yours!
- Select Dates
The next step is selecting dates & type of trip. We all have a busy schedule, some might have jobs that take a lot of time and others might have a family to take care of. Some might have a big group of friends who can’t make decisions and others are not even sure what the next month will look like. In any case, planning is essential. Our small groups are getting more and more popular and it just requires a small deposit to secure your place(s) for our trips. And you save money too!
- Solo or with a Group of Friends?
Think of spending a weekend or a few days with a group of like-minded fans? Fans who live for football and are eager to tick off their personal football bucket list with people who share the same passion, you are at the right place! The ball is entirely in your court when it comes to deciding between Homefans and a match break company. Perhaps you prefer just having a ticket and hotel, or you look for a trip that offers you more than just a football match. There’s an option to book a private trip for up to 30 travelers, or you can join one of our small group with other international fans. Take note: when inviting friends, remember the minimum age for our trips is 18 years old.
- Make a Plan
If you’re struggling to coordinate your destination or money, week and trip with friends, you can use a payment plan to create your payment scheme and then invite your crew to join you. It’s a great way to save up for what should be a once in a lifetime experience. Organisation is key. Leave the hard work to us, you will always have a personal team member who will guide you through the process and send you reminders. In most cases, this team member is also the person who will join the small groups.
- Pay with Ease
Wondering whether you can book now and pay later? Well, yes. Yes, you can. You can guarantee the trip of your life without splashing all the cash at once. You can pay for your trips over 2 or 3 installments, with just a 30% deposit on booking.
The trip is booked by one person online and one person only. If you’re the lead booker, you are responsible for collecting everyone’s money. Prefer to let everyone pay directly to Homefans, and we track it for you. Handy, huh? Please note that the lead booker is responsible for making sure payments are made on time. If only it were acceptable to have such things on your resume.
- Create unforgettable memories
Embrace football cultures around the world and remember, it’s not just about the 90 minutes, experience cultures beyond the 90 minutes. Create unforgettable memories, turn yourself into a storyteller and become friends with people who share the same passion for football as you do. Our trips often create great stories and memories for our travelers and we enjoy them too!
Do you have any questions? You can always get in touch with one of our team members. We speak English, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese and Serbian. The best part? We all love football as much as you do.
