I'm Matheus, a football fan who has a degree in History and developed his research on his greatest passion: football, more precisely, football fans! So, I believe I have several stories to tell! I'm a die hard Flamengo fan and I've been going to my club's matches since I was little! I've been organizing tours and matches for a few years here in Homefans and I know exactly what a local fan does on a match day in Rio de Janeiro! Want to live this experience? Come with me!

Watching Flamengo at the Maracanã was the highlight of our trip to Rio, and we're so happy that we decided to go with Matheus. He takes away the stress of securing tickets, getting to the match and back, navigating the stadium etc. You will get to hang out with the fans pre-match, and then join them in the stadium. Matheus will give you the option to stand with the singing section, which I recommend - they're all really welcoming, and will even let you try out their flags and drums. The atmosphere was unlike any match that I've been to before, and thankfully we got a 3-1 win! This trip is a must for any trip to Rio

We had an incredible time with Matheus attending the Flamengo game at Maracana. The energy in the stadium was out of this world, and it was so fun to be a real part of the action in the fan club with Matheus. As far as guides go, he was exceptional. He did an excellent job of making us feel safe and welcome at all times. His English is very good and he is a fun person to be around. It is a way better experience than trying to go to the game by yourself and figure it all out on your own. I definitely recommend doing a Flamengo game and going with Matheus makes it so much better!

It was a wonderful experience visiting one of the world's most iconic stadiums. The local host was very knowledgeable and a real encyclopedia of football stories

What an epic day! Met some lovely people, had a wonderful time. Matheus was really great and very accommodating. He even paid for things out of his own pocket, until we could pay him back later, because we forgot to bring cash! My boyfriend is a big football fan, so he obviously enjoyed it, but even for myself, someone who knows hardly anything about football, I can definitely say I had such a good time and it felt like one big party with (new) friends!! Highly recommend :)
