My name is Fabio and it will be amazing to host you in the neighbourhood of the most passionate club in Argentina!
We are going to walk the local streets and take in the paintings and graffiti art. So you can relive San Lorenzo’s history, one of the five most important teams in Argentine football.
In the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Boedo, you can breathe San Lorenzo. Its walls are full of murals and many of them show the history of the club and its idols. Let’s go through them, while I tell you about our traditions. We will walk the cobbled streets of the neighbourhood and you will discover a lot about Argentine football.
For us, San Lorenzo is “the largest neighbourhood club in the world” and “the famous School of the terraces”, and I am going to tell you why. We are going to chat like Argentine fans. You will feel blessed, like Pope Francis, our most famous fan.
We are going to meet in the small chapel where the club was founded in 1908. From there, we’ll walk together through the passages of the neighbourhood. I’ll tell you the history of San Lorenzo according to the murals we see along the way, before we finish the walking tour at the site of our old “El Gasometro” stadium.
You will arrive as a traveler but leave as my San Lorenzo friend.
