Hello! My name is Lara and I’m your local hostess of Vélez Sarsfield! I’ve been following my club since I was a little girl and I certainly have great stories to tell! Vélez, which is also known as El Fortín (The Strong), is undoubtedly one of the most successful clubs in Buenos Aires and Argentina. Among Vélez’s greatest achievements are the Intercontinental Cup (Club World Cup), the Copa Libertadores de América and several Argentine leagues! In addition, Vélez is home to great players of Argentine and international football such as Carlos Bianchi, Diego Simeone, José Luis Chilavert and many others.
Vélez fans are the Fortíneros, after their stadium is nicknamed El Fortín de Liniers (The Fort of Liniers). Currently Vélez is a club with supporters throughout Argentina, mainly in Greater Buenos Aires. Every game we show our passion for our club and certainly the party in the stands is a unique experience!
I will meet you at your accommodation or at a pre-defined meeting point in case of big groups. We will use public transport which is the best way to reach the Liniers neighborhood and the José Amalfitani Stadium. Once there, we’ll enjoy a pre-match atmosphere, where we’ll have some traditional Vélez drinks and food on the street, as well as get in touch with other local fans. We will have a great and immersive experience during the game and in the history and tradition of Vélez! After that we will return to the same meeting place.
At José Amalfitani Stadium you will be able to experience a home match of Vélez Sarsfield with me, a local who will guide you throughout the evening! No need to worry about planning where to go, how to get a ticket for entrance or how to travel. I got you covered! This experience includes a match ticket, public transport round-trip, English speaking guide and 2 local beers at the pre match!

Whilst the fixture calendar has been released, final confirmed dates are usually announced 2-3 weeks before the kick-off date, due to TV schedule. It is possible then, that Sunday matches will move to Saturday and vice-versa. The local hosts will keep you posted in case there is a change.
When you choose and pay for your an activity on the Homefans marketplace, you will receive a booking confirmation directly after the booking via email. In this confirmation, you will get all the details of your booking.
Once the booking is done, you will receive an order confirmation and the Homefans tech platform will notify the host about it. A few days prior to the game, the host will get in touch with you via Whatsapp to arrange the appropriate logistics.

However, this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own.

We recommend not to bring bags and valuables to the stadia in Argentina. Just the bare minimum to be more comfortable during your experience.
Also, please restrain from wearing the away team’s colours as it will make it almost impossible to access the ground.
If you foresee that you cannot longer attend the activity you booked, you can do it within the next 24 hours after your booking was done.
According to our Terms & Conditions, after the 24 hour window, the host cancellation policy applies, and it depends on each host. Given that it involves tickets, it’s usually non-refundable.
