My name is Ignacio and I am a Homefans host in Mexico City, the most populous metropolitan area in the Western Hemisphere. I am a passionate supporter of Pumas UNAM. I am also an unofficial historian and digital content creator in social networks for this professional football team. I’d love to show you all the best our destination has to offer!
Dear football traveller, if you are visiting Mexico City and while we wait for the football stadiums to reopen, how about a walking tour through the biggest university campus in Latin America which is home to the Olympic Stadium?
If you like the idea, I will offer a unique UNAM Campus Walking Tour, that is not the typical and ordinary activity of a university campus. This one is focused on knowing the rich sports history of this University!
I will be your tour guide giving you a rare insider’s view of this campus. We will walk through the gardens and emblematic buildings including the Olympic Stadium. You will get to know some of the masterpieces from artists like Diego Rivera or David Alfaros Siqueiros and if time and the authorities allow it, we could visit “la Cantera”, which is the sports facilities where Pumas UNAM professional soccer team practice for their games. Along the way we stop to try some delicious Taco’s.
