Overview

COVID-19 Travel Advice.

Travel looks a bit different at the moment.  Given that the advice is ever changing Homefans is not publishing specific information, however we are linking here to the Croatian Government where you will find the latest advise.

For entry to the stadium you should be prepared to prove you are vaccinated, have recovered or provide a negative test

In this matchday experience, you will see one of the unique European derbies! This rivalry can be traced all the way back to 1920’s and because of that it’s also named “the eternal derby”.

Although Dinamo is from the capital of Croatia and Hajduk is from the coast, this game is a derby indeed!  The mighty Dinamo versus the tradition-filled Hajduk!  The Bad Blue Boys versus the oldest club supporter group in Europe, Torcida!

See the derby that so many world-class players have played before, such as Luka Modrić, Davor Šuker, Zvonimir Boban, Robert Prosinečki, Robert Jarni and much more!

Although Dinamo has been more successful in the last 15 years, this game absolutely never disappoints! Live the experience of the “eternal derby” by getting to know the town of Split and it’s history, drinking a few beers at the pubs around the stadiums filled with the home supporters and enjoying the match at Stadion Poljok.

Next fixture coming soon!

Join us in Split on the 12th March for the next thrilling fixture in this fiercely fought Derby.

Children up to aged 11 are free.  12 and over must be booked as adults

FAQs

Will the stadiums be open in 2021/22? At what capacity?

Homefans believe that stadiums will be open to fans, however we cannot at this stage confirm what the capacity will be.  However our flexible booking policies mean that if the stadium will only accept 50% fans and you decide you only want to travel with 100% attendance you can swap to another venue or another date.

Will I need to prove I am vaccinated? Or show a negative test?

This will vary destination to destination and based on your nationality and age. Therefore Homefans are not able to advise on this.  Please check the foreign ministry of your destination and home country and the stadium requirements.  Again, if you find the requirements too much you can defer to later in the season/year when they relax further.

COVID-19 hasn’t gone away- should I still book?

We believe so, we all need something to look forward to.  But we understand that people may be apprehensive which is why we have created a flexible cancellation policy which means in the event that the event does not happen the amount paid simply becomes Homefans credit.

You can transfer this to a later date (with no time limit), transfer to another tour, or even give it to a friend. This flexibility also applies if you decide to cancel for any reason (as long as you give us 45 days notice)

Where in the stadium will we be sitting?

If we know where you will be sitting we always mention this is in the inclusions section.

Unfortunately we are not always able to tell you that at the time of booking, however our destination managers work tirelessly to make sure you get the best seats. We always aim for the long side of the home supporters section.

How many people will be on the tour?

The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!

Can children / young adults join the tour?

If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.

Is the match date confirmed?

Weekend matches can move from Saturday to Sunday and vice-versa.  We provide the current scheduled date but we would advise you only to book the matchday experience if you are available in the destination for the whole weekend.
