Hello everyone! I’m Francesco Correale and I was born and raised in Naples, one of the most authentic cities in the world. On this tour, I offer you a very warm virtual welcome to Naples. I have designed this tour for those who are curious to know the origins of SSC Napoli, their association with Maradona (in fact we will talk a lot about D10S and his relationship with the Neapolitan people) but to let you know better the Neapolitan fan faith we have to talk a bit of this peculiar city and its history.
As we talk I will be showing you, Naples, starting from Piazza del Plebiscito where it is possible to admire the Vesuvius, one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world and also the same creator of the Neapolitan land. Passing through Via Toledo we will go-ahead to the lively and folkloristic Quartieri Spagnoli. There we have the first Maradona mural since 1990 and even his sanctuary. There will see others hotspots as 2 different murals of Diego, the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium (former San Paolo stadium) and a bar having the first “Edicola Votiva” of Maradona with his hair exposed as a relic.
We will discuss the history of Naples and the civilizations who have made the city their home over the years. We will learn about Maradona’s time in Napoli and the Neopolitan people talking of their eternal bond. And lastly, when we reach the stadium I will tell you the story of how SSC Napoli was formed and the greatest moments of the club. While we are here we will have an interactive Q&A. I look forward to hearing your questions
I hope this virtual Naples tour will be an invitation for you to visit for real one day.
Verified Homefans Host 11 Reviews I consider myself a realistic but positive guy who has worked and travelled around the wolrd from young age. I feed my person with positive vibes, good ideas and the will to do, or at least to try somthing of new througth cultural exchange with people from different parts of the world. A simple and natural give and take! I am against the mass tourism, but I love the local and amateur one since it gives the chance to catch much more aspects, therefore unforgettable memories and emotions. What's Sport for me? It is a means of communication, creativity and exchange cultural in a "game" key, and football is one of my favourite sport acrivity. As Neapolitan of course my team is Napoli and I guess I'll die with this proud!
