Welcome to West London!
In 1882, The Queen’s Park Rangers was born from two local youth club teams, St. Jude’s Institute and Christchurch Rangers. The name was that most of the players in the team came from the District of Queen’s Park. In total, QPR have changed grounds more often than any other League club (seventeen times), thirteen different venues, not even taking into account the temporary use of Stamford Bridge in 1915 and Highbury in 1930.
Their supporters are called The Hoppers and of course, absolutely the entire fan base hates their enemies Chelsea FC. A good thing: In the 1976/77 season, QPR’s first entry into European football, they reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup, losing out on penalties to AEK Athens. It was the best season of the club in their history!
But sometimes, things can get heated. In February 2007, QPR hosted the Chinese Olympic football team in a “goodwill” friendly at their training ground – seven Chinese players were sent home after a mass brawl broke out, one with a broken jaw.
The club plays at Loftus Road. On 7 June 2019, the club gifted the naming rights to the stadium to The Kiyan Prince Foundation, a charity set up in honour of former QPR youth player Kiyan Prince, resulting in the stadium becoming known as the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
In this matchday experience, you will meet our English Speaking Homefans Local Host at the British Queen Pub, which is under a ten-minute walk away. Due to the location of Loftus Road, there are plenty of pubs in the vicinity with several being available with less than a two-minute walk away. Over there, we will have the most amazing, local and authentic experience together with QPR fans in a pub that has some of the best pints in the city!
After that, we will talk to the ground and there will be plenty of time to get something to eat or more beers to drink in local strolls. We will enter the club’s store if someone wants to buy a jersey or some souvenir, and about 30 minutes before the match starts, our local host will escort to your seats safely. During the 90 minutes, get ready for some good football!
After the game, our local host will assist you to jump on the subway or recommend some nice bars to extend the night, and say Goodbye to everybody!

Homefans believe that stadiums will be open to fans, however we cannot at this stage confirm what the capacity will be. However our flexible booking policies mean that if the stadium will only accept 50% fans and you decide you only want to travel with 100% attendance you can swap to another venue or another date.
This will vary destination to destination and based on your nationality and age. Therefore Homefans are not able to advise on this. Please check the foreign ministry of your destination and home country and the stadium requirements. Again, if you find the requirements too much you can defer to later in the season/year when they relax further.
We believe so, we all need something to look forward to. But we understand that people may be apprehensive which is why we have created a flexible cancellation policy which means in the event that the event does not happen the amount paid simply becomes Homefans credit.
You can transfer this to a later date (with no time limit), transfer to another tour, or even give it to a friend. This flexibility also applies if you decide to cancel for any reason (as long as you give us 45 days notice)
If we know where you will be sitting we always mention this is in the inclusions section.
Unfortunately we are not always able to tell you that at the time of booking, however our destination managers work tirelessly to make sure you get the best seats. We always aim for the long side of the home supporters section.
The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!
If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.
Weekend matches can move from Saturday to Sunday and vice-versa. We provide the current scheduled date but we would advise you only to book the matchday experience if you are available in the destination for the whole weekend.
