Santiago Wanders is known as the dean of Chilean football, its 129 years oh history backed on that. It is a heritage of Latin American football and of course, pride of its hometown, the port of Valparaiso located in the middle of the country.
Its English origin quickly mixed with the passion of PORTEÑOS, Valparaiso inhabitants, and makes it one of the most popular clubs in Chile. It does not matter who are they playing against, in Valparaiso no other team will be local.
Passion and tradition are found all over the place, in the fans, in the architecture itself with hundreds of graffities honoring Santiago Wanders. During this day, you will be witnessing what makes WANDERITO, such a special and beloved club.
Itinerary
Our meeting point is Plaza Sotomayor, and from there we head towards Playa Ancha, where the stadium is located. During this tour we will have a guide and fans of the club, who will tell us how they live their passion for Santiago Wanderers, and some surprises along the way. Finally, the day will finish sharing a beer with local fans in a typical Valparaiso bar, so you can learn more about the club and have a first-hand experience being a Wanderino for a day.
