Hi guys! My name is Toni and I will give you the most amazing, local and authentic in my city, Split!
Hajduk is a professional Croatian football club founded in 1911 and based in the city of Split. The team’s traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and blue socks. The idea to found a football club was had by a group of Split students in a famous tavern known as U Fleků in Prague while studying there and observing Slavia and Sparta Prague players. When arriving back home to Split, they started founding the club, and Hajduk was born on 13th February 1911. Between the early 1920s and 1940, Hajduk regularly participated in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia national championship. Following World War II and the Yugoslav league system’s formation in 1946, Hajduk spent the entire SFR Yugoslavia period at the top level. Following Yugoslavia’s breakup, the club joined the Croatian First League in its inaugural season in 1992, never relegated from its top tier.
In this matchday experience, we will stat in the city center and have a nice walk through the old town, where I will show you the most important places. While taking local transportation towards the pre-match, you will learn about Hajduk and Torcida rich history from a local fan and enjoy the storytelling, together with an authentic warm-up with Hajduk fans Torcida! Take this chance to learn more about the Croatian football culture. Of course, we will enjoy some drinks with the supporters!
At the match, you can expect 90 minutes of intense football! Take some time to snap photos of the Ultras! Their tifos and pyros are just amazing! Afterwards, we will go back to the city center and have food and more drinks in a traditional Croatian restaurant. We will chat and have a nice time before I say Goodbye to the group!
