Are you ready to live an authentic Mexican football experience?
Hi, my name is Ramiro, but you can call me Ram. Together, we’ll enjoy a typical day of a Chivas supporter in Guadalajara.
About the city
Guadalajara is the capital of Jalisco, the state famous for mariachi, tequila, and the beautiful beaches of Puerto Vallarta.
For sports fans, Guadalajara is a must-visit city because it is home to Club Deportivo Guadalajara(aka Chivas), one of the most famous football clubs in Mexico.
The match day experience
We’ll start the day at the meeting point in downtown Guadalajara or La Minerva fountain (Minerva Roundabout).
Then I’ll drive you to a local food restaurant so you can try authentic Guadalajara dishes like the famous birria, Jalisco style tacos, or tortas ahogadas.
After a tasty meal and some drinks, we’ll go directly to Akron Stadium to join Chivas supporters at “Fiesta Rebaño”, a special fan zone located just outside the stadium, where you’ll be able to try all sorts of snacks.
Finally, you’ll get to enjoy a Liga MX match from seats with a great view of the field while I answer all your questions about Chivas and Mexican football.
To end the day, I’ll drive you back to the meeting point with great memories of your visit to Guadalajara.
