Barcelona and its sunny weather, tasty Mediterranean food, paella, tapas and beaches. This cosmopolitan city is considered by many the best place on earth. The best restaurants in Europe and incredible late nightlife makes the city the perfect spot. But guess what is the most important thing from all? Of course, it is football!
Home of the giant FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol, both rivals fight every year for much more than just a game. The clubs have cultural and political differences, with the first being considered the real Catalan and people’s club (although they are way more powerful than their rivals), whereas Espanyol is considered the team from the wealthy people who supported Spain in the Civil War.
With our Homefans English Speaking Guide Naxto, a local resident and FC Barcelona fanatic, you will first step into Camp Nou, the enormous stadium and have the most amazing Stadium Tour. Naxto will be able to tell you the best stories about the Derby and its rivalry, as well as conducting you through the main areas, such as dressing room, press conference and pitch.
After that, we will take the subway and walk through the streets of El Gotic, where Naxto will give a 45 minutes city tour focused on the most important landmarks in the old city and making an analogy with FC Barcelona and Spanish Football.
To finish the tour in a good shape, we will stop at one of Naxto’s favourite restaurant, enjoy a beer and some tapas!
