Last updated. 6 Oct.

Anyone who loves football knows the incredible passion of the A.S Roma fans and we want to give you a unique experience that will bring you in touch with one of the most passionate fans in the world.

This isn’t just a matchday experience but a journey into the roman’s football culture. Simone will accompany you during all the tour. During the experience you’ll meet Niccolò, a Roma fan who attend the stadium every sunday in the last 15 years and he’ll show you the secrets of the Olimpico and of the Curva Sud, the area of the stadium where the hardest Roma fans create an unbelievable atmosphere.

We choose for you two different areas of the stadium to watch the match in a comfortable and passionate way: the Tribuna Tevere and the Tribuna Monte Mario. Those are the two grandstands on the long sides of the pitch of the Stadio Olimpico. There you will live the authentic atmosphere of an A.S Roma game. Those areas are also perfect for children and families.

The experience also includes a tour of the Foro Italico (the sports complex where the Stadio Olimpico was built) and the story of the stadium that it has hosted over the decades one Olympic Games, three editions of the Euros and one World Cup, in additions to dozens of crucial matches of the Champions League. The experience includes a drink before the match, in a pub outside the stadium full of Roma fans.

Please, let us know if a person under 14 will be on the tour. We will be happy to give this person a gift and he will have to pay just the match ticket and not the full price of our experience.

For every member of our experience is included as a gift a sticker.

Covid-19 update, September 2021: due to the rules imposed by the Italian government, only those in possession of Green Pass can enter at the Stadium. If you don’t have it, you can do a rapid antigen test that if negative will give you a temporary Green Pass of 48 hours. Remember that without Green Pass you will not able to enter into the stadium even if you have the match ticket. The current capacity of the stadium is 50% and we can’t guarantee that all the seats will be close together.

FAQs

Are Italy's stadiums open? At what capacity?

As of October 2021 Italy’s stadiums are opening at 75% capacity.

However please note that this is subject to immediate change without notice and that Homefans and our local hosts have no control over this.

Will I need to prove I am vaccinated? Or show a negative test?

Yes, for major sporting events Italy has a Green Pass.  You will need to show proof of double vaccination in the official pass issued by your government.  Failing that you can show proof of a negative PCR taken 48 hours prior to arrival in Italy (72 hours for US, Canada, Israel or Japan)

Is the match date confirmed?

We publish the latest information we have from the clubs regarding the schedule.  However these are tentative.  For weekend fixtures matches can take place any time from Friday to Sunday.  For midweek matches you should be prepared for the match to take place one day earlier or later than stated.  Please consider this when making your wider travel plans.

Where in the stadium will I be sitting?

Please refer to the inclusions section.

In the rare event this is not documented this means that we source different tickets match to match.  We will always strive to offer you the best seats available.

How many people will be on the tour?

The maximum number of people the host will allow is stated above. However this number may not always be met and it may even be possible that your party is on the tour on your own. Higher numbers make for a more sociable experience, lower numbers make for more personalised attention from your host. Look at it as a win/win!

Can children / young adults join the tour?

If we can accept children there will be an option in the booking flow. However for many trips our local hosts take the decision, based on the content of the tour, to open this up to adults only. If you are looking to travel with under 18’s, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss your options.

I Amo Calcio; I Amo Roma

Ever since hearing the cry of the words "Roma Roma Roma core de 'sta Citta unico grande amore de tanta e tanta gente m'hai fatto 'nammora" beaming through the stadium, I'm unable to get the tune of the chant out of my head. The atmosphere was in a word magical and I could watch the Curva Sud for hours on end. Their support is fantastic, even despite the stadium being filled 50% because of Covid, (you wouldn't have known by the way), so so good. Nic and Simone were gracious hosts and great people. They gave us an insight to the club and their zealous fans. Thanks a lot guys, you really added massively to the experience!! The game itself was a great watch and one of my mates at the end said "as if we got a 90th minute winner, are you fucking serious, yesssss!". It was also momentous as it was Mourinho's 1000th managerial game. Serie A looks really thrilling this year so would 100% recommend it! Worth every single penny. I will undoubtedly go to Rome again and when I do, I'll definitely go see Roma again. Rome is one of the greatest cities in the world and it's an absolute must to see A.S. Roma play whilst you're there! It's easily one of the best things I've done and is an experience I'll cherish forever. Grazie mille Nic i Simone!
