THE ROLE

We are looking for a Junior Bucket List Consultant Intern to assist the Customer Service Team and Commercial Manager during the busy months. The person must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. The role is customer facing, dealing with new enquiries, maximizing conversions and supporting existing bookings.

The successful applicant will be exposed to many aspects of supplier dealings including speaking directly to companies. There will also be the chance to travel to one of Homefans destinations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Customer Service team to manage incoming client enquiries, via email, phone and instant chat
  • Assist clients in collating and populating crew lists
  • Undertake a weekly booking check with all partners; confirming names, capacity, deposit amount and features are correct prior to departure
  • Manage collection of ID’s for bookings
  • Assist Commercial Manager in monitoring and sourcing additional trip supply
  • Undertake regular competitor analysis
  • Working between Ops and Trip Managers
  • Copy Writing to keep the Homefans website up to date throughout the season and implement on the fly changes.
  • Own and manage table bookings across all destinations and be the primary point of contact on the subject for both trip managers and guests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A thorough working knowledge of Excel
  • English as a fluent language
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom or the Netherlands
  • A team player, willing to engage in Homefans’ unique social environment
  • Fluency in Dutch is not required but will be a surplus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The role will start as soon as a successful candidate is identified. Remote/flexible working is required as Homefans’ Staff is located in 3 different countries. Preferred location within the UK or Netherlands (Amsterdam).

SALARY

Reasonable expenses and reasonable travel costs will be covered. The successful candidate will attend one of our trips at the end of the internship.
