Enjoy the best week of your life at low prices.
For many fans around the world, the ultimate football trip. A football culture like no other. Experiencing Argentina should be on your bucket list to experience football in Buenos Aires at least once in your lifetime.
Often find yourself scrolling through your social feed, daydreaming about the best football trips, inspiring stadiums, and life-changing adventures? Then you wake up, check your bank balance and… dammit.
Fortunately for you, we want to make Ultimate Argentina experience accessible for all; travelers, groups, and people with a small summer budget alike. If you’re clever about it, you can join the trip of a lifetime at a fraction of the usual price.
1. Book Early
You read it correctly. We have early bird spots available for a discounted price for every trip we run. Most of our trips are sold out within weeks, travelers who book early get rewarded with a discounted price. Why? because we can start organizing the trip as early as possible with lower costs.
We do love to book trips last-minute too as we don’t have to plan far in advance, but unfortunately, that often comes at a higher price. Can’t plan 6 months in advance for Argentina? You can always change your deposit for another trip if you can’t make it.
2. Pay in 3 installments
We have an optional payment plan for every trip we run, where you can book now and pay the rest later, just like that. Don’t splash all of the cash at once. Split the cost of your ultimate football trip instead:
- When you book your spot for the Ultimate Argentina trip, you pay the first 30% of the total cost of the booking within 24 hours.
- No later than 60 days afterward, 60% of the total cost must be paid.
- Then the grand 100% must be paid no later than 35 days before the trip begins.
3. Split it with friends
Don’t take the main hit. Pay your share and then split the rest evenly with your mates. Are you with 4 or more friends who want to join the trip? We often can get bigger apartments and hotel rooms for discounted prices. This means you’ll save money too and can split it between friends. Ask for a group discount.
4. Be savvy about flights
A few facts for you:
The rule of thumb for traveling to South America suggests that 90-100 days before trip start day is the best time to buy your ticket. This is the beginning of the “prime booking window”, which is the best time to book flights for high season destinations from Argentina.
Choose for an indirect flight to Buenos Aires. Direct flights are the easiest way to get to a destination. Who doesn’t want to arrive at a destination without switching planes or airport? When you book your flights to Argentina, you’ll notice you can save a lot of money by booking indirect flights to Buenos Aires. Most of the time you have to stop once or twice before you arrive in Buenos Aires, but hey it saves money to drink more beers once you arrived!
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are generally the cheapest days to fly to Argentina no matter when. Prefer to book the flights via Homefans? No problem at all, we have tools in place to get the cheapest flights possible.
Google Flights is a great tool through which you can track prices and book with confidence. We recommend using it!
5. Preparation is key
It may sound obvious, but pack and prepare well in advance people. The best way to save for the beers and the football shirts you’re going to buy is to prepare in advance and start saving up. Open an extra bank account and transfer a small amount every month to this account to save up for the trip.
And there you have it. You do not need to be rich to travel. Or to have the time of your life for that matter!
