As the first purpose built stadium in England, Goodison Park can offer 122 years of rich history, befitting its affectionately known nickname ‘The Grand Old Lady. See why Everton is such a family club and learn more about the history of this football club.
From the cool bars in its Baltic Triangle to old-fashioned boozers and snazzy bistros, Liverpool’s nightlife has a late-night licence to whet your whistle, whatever your tipple. We’ll visit some of the finest bars & clubs to enjoy the vibrant nightlife in Liverpool.
Day 2 – MATCH DAY
People call it “the friendly derby.” But only if they never played in it. When Everton and Liverpool meet, there is no quarter given. Merseyside is different. Support for the area’s two Premier League clubs is not determined by geographical location, religion, political allegiance or social status. Here, families are split down the middle by football loyalties.
We’ll kick this day of with an early breakfast before we head to one of Everton’s supporters pubs to soak up in the atmosphere before the match. Enjoy a few beers, chat with other Evertonians and learn more about the history of this great club.
After the match we’ll head back into a pub to enjoy some time and get some dinner together. Spend the rest of the night in the vibrant centre of Liverpool or just hang out with your friends; it’s up to you!
